The Intellicorr (INTELLIgent CORRosion management underpinned by advanced engineering science) project officially kicked off in December 2017. The project is an Advanced Grant funded from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 742930.
The project is hosted by the Institute of Functional Surfaces (iFS) at the University of Leeds, and is lead by Prof. Anne Neville. The project will investigate localised corrosion in sour environments and the potential for green corrosion protection using the natural corrosion product layer, using the iFS Corrosion Laboratory which specialises in sour and HP/HT corrosion environments.
